Don’t take it from us. Reykjavík Grapevine has named Röntgen the “best goddamn bar” in town ever since we opened our doors in November 2019.
Keeping it simple
We offer a warm atmosphere, friendly service and pleasant music. We mix divine cocktails, have a well curated selection of fairly-priced wines–including low-intervention bottles–and sell first rate beer on draft and bottled. Our drinks menu has excellent virgin cocktails and alcohol-free beers as well

Lively program
On Sundays and Mondays we foreground wine and cheese. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we invite the best music selectors to massage your eardrums with smooth but compelling sounds. Fridays and Saturdays see the energy levels raised, with our guests lacing their dancing shoes on as midnight rolls around.
